Ajiboye Olorunjuwon is a passionate chess player, community leader, and professional designer dedicated to using chess as a tool for youth empowerment. His journey began in childhood, when he created his first chess set from molded clay and cardboard and was introduced to the game by his elder brother. With ratings of 1500 on Chess.com and 1700 on Lichess, Ajiboye is actively pursuing his FIDE rating.
In 2023, he launched the Chess for Kings program in partnership with the Alex Ladan Foundation, teaching over 15 children chess and life skills with no cost beyond their attention and commitment. This initiative reflects his belief in making chess accessible and impactful for community development.
